Global 1 Multi Skilled Rig Building, Rope Access Derrick Technicians have extensive experience in Derrick assembly, outfitting, decommissioning, extending and modifying Derricks and Land Rigs.

The Global 1 Derrick Technician Teams are continually trained and safety assessed externally and in-house. Our in-house training covering an array of different work scopes and scenarios, including Derrick Assembly, Crown Block Removal, Racking Board Removal, Guide Rails Installation, Derrick Bolts Inspections and Replacement to name but some of work scopes.

All of Global 1 Derrick Technicians undergo an extensive level of assessment, both while on location, and in-house. Our in-house competency training matrix contributes to ensure safety and integrity is maintained to the highest standard throughout our operations whether at onshore or offshore locations.

This in turn ensures safety and productivity is maximised, maintaining our reputation for the go to company for rig building teams. Along with the pro-active attitude of our office teams for getting the job completed on time, and within budget, whilst maintaining the safest working environment for all personnel.

Rope Access Technicians

All of Global 1’s Supervision and Rope Access personnel are also qualified in their own skill set, such as Welders, Electricians, fabricators, Riggers, NDT and Inspection personnel, this gives Global 1 an advantage over many of our competitors as we are able to support a wide range of customer work scopes and requirements from inspection activities, or complicated rigging activities, through to electrical installations, or fabricating and piping work-scopes.

Whether it’s on offshore installations or land rig locations we have the majority of work scopes covered should our customers require them.
