Dropped Object Surveys

Global 1 carry out many variations of a dropped object surveys, these surveys are also carried out on all types of structures and buildings. Our surveys can range from a sweep of the structure removing all loose items and debris, to a complete inventory of equipment and safety assessment of the integrity of fittings and its secondary retention.

E-Learning | Training Academy

Training and Competency is at the forefront of everything we do within our industry as we strive to be more productive, efficient and safe.

Global 1 have been providing classroom training to clients over a number of years. However in the current climate, face to face training is no longer practical. Global 1 have invested in providing superior training material online, through our LMS (Learning Management System).

Global 1 have developed training courses to help the Oil & Energy industry maintain the highest level of safety and compliance. Distance Learning ensures that required, high quality educational material are delivered in a “non-contact” environment. These courses are useful for offshore and onshore personnel as well as management level working from the office.

Derrick Upgrade Services

With a combined management experience of over 60 years the Global 1 management Team has upgraded, modified, repaired, re-certified & inspected all types of Drilling structures, The Global 1 team has completed various Derrick & Mast upgrades over the years, covering every element of the work-scope from the initial survey, to the structural analysis, right through to procurement and fabrication of equipment and materials, to the Installation and completion of the upgrade project.

Rope Access Technicians

Global 1 Multi Skilled rig building, Rope Access Derrick Technicians have extensive experience in Derrick assembly, outfitting, decommissioning, extending and modifying Derricks and Land Rigs. The Global 1 technician Teams are continually trained and safety assessed, with our in-house training covering an array of different work scopes and scenarios, including Derrick Assembly, Crown Block Removal and Installation, Racking Board Removal, Guide Rails Installation, Derrick Bolts Inspections and Replacement to name but some of work scopes.

Casing Stabbing Boards (CSB)

Global 1’s Casing Stabbing Boards are designed to provide a sturdy mobile work platform for use on all types of offshore and onshore drilling rigs. Our Stabbing Boards are always designed and manufactured with the emphasis on personnel safety, and the reliability to provide the CSB operator good access. All Global 1 Casing Stabbing boards provide a safe environment for the operator, and folds out of the way to create more Derrick space and remove all possibility of a collision or damage to the CSB when it’s not in use.

Heat Shield - Supply / Installation

Global 1 carry out the design, supply, and installation of heat shield for the Derrick, Drill floor, and other exposed areas such as stairways and flare stacks, whether it’s on offshore or onshore structures.
Because we have installed many variations, concepts and designs; adapting specifically to our customers’ requirements, including weight saving concepts on Derricks and Masts.

Global1 has developed high quality E-Learning courses to contribute in maintaining the highest level of safety and compliance in the Oil & Gas Industry. Our E-Learning courses ensures that the required educational material can be taken at the candidates own pace.

Global 1 are suppliers and distributors for Derrick and Flare Heat and Wind shield products for the Oil and Gas industry. Global1 carry out turn key projects from initial survey, to design and engineering, procurement and fabrication and finally delivery and installation.
