Global 1’s Casing Stabbing Boards are designed to provide a sturdy mobile work platform for use on all types of offshore and onshore drilling rigs. All Global 1 Casing Stabbing boards provide a safe environment for the operator, and folds out of the way to create more Derrick space and remove all possibility of a collision or damage to the CSB when it’s not in use.

Global 1 undertake the designs and installation of derrick wind-walls for derricks and drill floors, over the years we have many concepts and designs that we can adapt specifically to our customers’ requirements, including weight saving concepts. Because some drilling structures that were not originally designed to accommodate the wind loading of large heavy wind-walls we also design and supply lightweight fabric wind shields. Our engineering department is able to run the calculations to establish if any reinforcement would be required to accommodate the wind-shields.
Racking Boards tend to have a hard life racking up thousands of metres of drill pipe in their life time. Inevitably at some point the racking board assembly will be damaged. Worn to the extent that they need to be repaired, refurbished, or in some cases replaced. Global 1 design, manufacture and install replacement racking boards and support frames for every type of drilling Derrick or Mast.
From time to time some Derrick and Mast load bearing members such as braces and girts can become damaged, worn or depending on the environment, corroded. Corroded to the extent that they are no longer capable of safely handling the extreme loads for which they were originally designed to take.
Global 1 are the official agents and distributers for the Locker Heat & Wind Shields. From the initial survey, to design, engineering and finally the Installation, Global 1 carry out the complete turnkey project for the clients Heat & Wind shield requirements. The range of shielding products provides protection for personnel, Derricks, and Flare Decks from the dangers of heat, wind and weather when working in potentially hazardous locations offshore and onshore.
